Cindy Sheehan Cindy Sheehan
An American anti-war activist, whose son, U.S. Army Specialist Casey Sheehan, was killed by enemy actionduring the Iraq War. She attracted national and international media attention in August 2005 for her extended antiwar protest at a makeshift camp outside President George W. Bush's Texas ranch. Her memoir, Peace Mom: A Mother's Journey Through Heartache to Activism, was published.

Cindy was the 2012 vice-presidential nominee of the Peace and Freedom Party, and received 1.2% of the statewide vote in the 2014 California gubernatorial election.

Fred Blair Fred Blair
Electrical Engineer, IT Specialist, KPFK Local Station Board Member Past KPFK LSB Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee Southern California Federation of Scientists Member

Fred was first elected to the LSB in 2011, then re-elected in 2014, 2018 and 2021, and served as Chair of the Pacifica National Board Audit Committee from 2012 through 2014.

Fred’s life and work background are in Computer Programming and Technology. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics and worked as an Electronic Design Engineer in Embedded Systems for over 30 years

Eric Jacobson Eric Jacobson
Eric is a current member of the KPFK Local Station Board and member of the Pacifica Foundation National Audit Committee. He is also a public interest lawyer in Los Angeles. In his most recent civil rights case, he prosecuted a meritorious appeal alas to no avail) in the Ninth Circuit and U.S. Supreme Court on behalf of Cash Ferguson-Cassidy, an African-American LAPD rifle-shooting survivor who was unreasonably shot without warning and wounded at his white friend's residence in San Pedro, California by Officer Jacob Maynard. The Plaintiff’s denied certiorari and rehearing petitions are viewable online by entering Supreme Court case number 17-8937 in the search bar here and following the links.

Alex Steinberg Alex Steinberg
